Position may become permanent if permanent funding is approved; project/workload is permanently established.
Under the close supervision of the Business Taxes Administrator I, the incumbent answers incoming telephone calls and registers taxpayers under the tax programs administered by the Special Taxes Policy and Compliance Division. The incumbent performs the less difficult and complex technical work associated with registration, account maintenance, and close-outs. The incumbent may learn and perform duties in more varied and complex program areas. The incumbent will receive additional compensation each month for public contact through the telephone per Pay Differential 186. The incumbent will receive an additional $100.00 per month pay differential. The position is located in a high-rise building. All applicants will be considered however, SROA/Surplus will be given priority.
