Under the general supervision of the Business Taxes Administrator II, Compliance Program Analysis Section, the Business Taxes Compliance Specialist (BTCS), is responsible for independently completing the more complex and sensitive compliance and collection assignments as requested by the section supervisor and Sales and Use Tax Department (SUTD) management. The Incumbent is responsible for interpreting various tax laws used by BOE; ensures compliance with policies, procedures and works with various levels of management, including the legal department for clarification and guidance as needed. All applicants will be considered however, SROA/Surplus will be given priority. This position is located in a high-rise building.
