Job Description:
The Editorial Services Section is looking for a strong candidate to work as a Staff Services Analyst. The Editorial Services Section provides writing, editing, design, and production services to the Board Members, executive staff, BOE managers, staff and the public with the highest quality and most professional forms and documents possible. The SSA will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks which require strong analytical, personal computer, mathematical, organizational, problem-solving skills, and tact. The SSA’s assignments include: coordinating production and distribution of agency publications; maintaining the BOE publications database and preparing reports; preparing cost-benefit analyses related to the publications program; and writing, copy editing, and proofreading typeset copy of the agency newsletter, the Boardcaster. This position reports to the manager of the Editorial Services Section and is located in a high-rise building. Training and Development Assignments may be considered. Position may become permanent if the position becomes available permanently. All applicants will be considered however, SROA/Surplus candidates will be given priority.
