Job Description:
Under direction of the Key Data Supervisor II, the Key Data Operator will perform simple repetitive keying of information from various remittance and source documents using a personal computer and/or adding equipment. Accurately and competently performs key entry duties and verifies information from remittance and source documents. Receives, opens and sorts documents and checks; makes simple arithmetical computations. Researches information as necessary; assists in compiling and/or tabulating simple statistical data. Operates encoding and sorting equipment, and other office equipment as directed. Carries or otherwise transports, sorts, distributes or processes bundles/boxes/bags of mail, documents and checks. Performs quality review, corrects, scanning and other cashiering duties as requested. Multiple positions available. Must send typing certification with standard state application. The position is located in a high-rise building. The position requires the incumbent to be fingerprinted. A LEAP Certification list will be utilized. All applicants will be considered however, SROA/Surplus will be given priority.
