The reporting location for this position is the Pescadero State Park Maintenance Shop located in Pescadero. The incumbent performs skilled and semi-skilled tasks and duties necessary to maintain the park facilities and grounds at Butano State Park, San Gregorio State Beach, Pomponio State Beach, Pescadero State Beach, Pescadero Marsh Natural Reserve, Pebble Beach, Bean Hollow State Beach, Gazos Creek Angling Area, Pigeon Point Lighthouse, Rancho Del Oso and Ano Nuevo State Reserve including Ano Nuevo State Park. Duties include maintenance of facilities, roads, trails, systems, picnic areas, miscellaneous structures and office/service areas. Tasks include grounds maintenance, inspection, repair and operation of various hand/power tools, vehicles, and mowers. The incumbent may coordinate and lead various work crews such as volunteers, court referrals, CCC, and Cal Fire crews. Other duties include CAMP data entry, purchasing, safety meetings, and maintaining vehicle and equipment logs. The incumbent’s work schedule will be Tuesday to Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. State housing may be available.
