The reporting location for this position is the maintenance shop at Samuel P. Taylor State Park. The Park Maintenance Assistant performs grounds, facilities maintenance and housekeeping duties. The incumbent may act as a lead person for seasonal staff. This position performs semi-skilled and manual labor to maintain and repair buildings, structures, campsites, picnic facilities, roads, parking areas, trails, fixtures, water sewer and irrigation systems, and may also perform: carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and masonry on facilities. The incumbent’s work schedule will be Friday to Tuesday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. A state trailer pad may be available.
