The reporting location for this position is the Facility Maintenance complex located at the Hearst Castle Visitor Center in San Simeon. This position will work under the direction of the Coastal Sector Maintenance Chief. The incumbent will have direct oversight responsibility for the Facility Maintenance and Housekeeping programs at the Hearst Castle Visitor Center and Hearst San Simeon State Park. Interpersonal skills and the ability to will work closely with other core programs throughout the District will be elements to success in this position. Supervision and organizational skills, as well as developed skills in contracting, purchasing, CEQA and the Department’s CAMP program are highly desirable. State housing is not available.
