Job Description:
Pending HR Approval. Multiple positions available.
Under close supervision, the Student Assistant will provide support to a variety of functions within the Taxpayer Records Unit. This position requires the Student Assistant to maintain consistent and regular attendance, communicate effectively (orally and in writing) and in dealing with the public and/or employees. Student Assistants will work in a team environment and independently under stringent deadlines; also need to complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner. Duties may include the following: Data tracking and collection, prepare taxpayer records for scanning, purge data files, compile and enter data into Access databases, prepare and analyze data reports and other duties as required.

Work hours will vary between 6:00am – 3:30pm and is located in West Sacramento Must be a full or part time college student and be able to provide proof of college enrollment. To apply submit a completed State Application (STD 678) to be received by the final filing date.
