We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual seeking a Management Service Technician (MST) position to join our team.
The MST will collect and maintain data necessary to prepare routine OSPOD program reports, including quarterly performance measure reports and quarterly accomplishment reports. Perform preliminary data analysis and assist with development of related reports. Proofread and edit unit work products. This position will also review and evaluate tasks of project plans using Microsoft Project. Support timely and effective implementation of project tasks by providing verification, tracking, recording, and monitoring support as needed. Responsible for all general office support functions. Back-up attendance coordinator for OSPOD staff; maintain conference room calendar, schedule meetings, schedule appointments, and training classes.
Desirable qualifications: Proficient use of personal computers and the Microsoft Office suite of software applications including Word, Excel, MS Project, and PowerPoint. Knowledge of CA State government HR practices and policies. Demonstrated organizational skills. Complete assignments on time and with minimal errors. Candidate should have well-developed communication skills, good interpersonal skills, and the ability to work cooperatively with others.
