Title:  ASSOCIATE TAX AUDITOR, BOARD OF EQUALIZATION

Job Description:
All applicants will be considered however, SROA/Surplus will be given priority. Under general direction, the Associate Tax Auditor conducts the more difficult and complex audits and serve as lead over Tax Auditors; makes audit appointments; meets with taxpayers and their representatives; explains the audit findings; prepares appropriate audit reports and written correspondence to taxpayers. Meeting the training requirements for this position may require overnight travel for up to five consecutive nights.

This position is a limited term position for 24 months. Appointment may become permanent if position status becomes permanent.

Incumbent must be able to perform the essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
