Job Description:
Under the general direction of the District Administrator, the District Principal Auditor (DPA) is responsible for the administration of the audit program in the Ventura District Office. The DPA plans, organizes and directs the audit program through subordinate supervisors and provides audit program guidance to branch office supervisors. The incumbent is responsible for district office audit functions including: in-depth field auditing and other administrative activities relative to enforcing applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures. The incumbent also fosters cooperation and integrates functions between audit and compliance staff. The position requires the incumbent to be fingerprinted. All applicants will be considered however SROA/Surplus will be given priority.
