The reporting location for this position is the Monterey Sector Lifeguard Headquarters. This position will work under the direction of the Monterey Sector Superintendent. Monterey Sector is comprised of Garrapata State Park, Point Lobos State Reserve, Point Lobos Ranch, Carmel River State Beach, Monterey State Historic Park, Monterey State Beach, Marina State Beach, Salinas River State Beach, Moss Landing State Beach, Zmudowski State Beach and Fort Ord Dunes State Park. This position directly supervises the Aquatics Program staff and functions within Monterey Sector. This positions works closely with other Sector supervisory and management staff including the Sector Superintendent, Public Safety Superintendent, Supervising Ranger, Environmental Scientist, Maintenance Chief, Administrative staff and Maintenance Supervisor to promote teamwork and accomplish sector goals.
