Job Description:
The incumbent will serve as a member of the E-Services Mid-Tier unit. The Analyst typically serves as a member of a project team or works independently to develop and maintain existing applications of high complexity that support producing returns, receipt of payments, and management of accounts receivables and allocation of revenue. Develops or enhances complex applications, which support any BOE entity. This can include participating on a team effort for complex information system projects, primary support position for information systems and participating on teams in exploring and applying new technology to solve new requests or increase the efficiency of existing systems. Experience with JAVA (J2EE)/JSP is required if applying for the Staff Programmer Analyst classification. Willing to consider hiring at the Associate Programmer Analyst classification. Experience with JAVA (J2EE)/JSP is highly desired if applying for the Associate Programmer Analyst classification. Experience in developing web applications using Struts is desired.
