JOB DESCRIPTION :
Under the supervision of the Enterprise Data to Revenue (EDR) Test Manager, the incumbent functions as a member of the EDR State Testing Team, responsible for assigned State testing activities for the EDR Project and the Tax Systems Modernization Bureau. The position will be responsible for testing oversight activities as well as working collaboratively with the Department’s existing Legacy Systems to support joint testing efforts with the Solution Provider for the project. The incumbent is also repsonsible for facilitating walkthroughs and presentations related to State testing activities as well as actively supporting the user acceptance testing activities for major releases and triaging defects.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES :
Experience with the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Experience with testing of FTB tax systems, Rational Quality Manager (RQM) testing tool, ClearQuest change and defect tracking system.
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills and maintaining cooperative working relationships.
Knowledge of application testing and/or user acceptance testing methodologies.
Ability to reason logically and creatively, identify problems, draw valid conclusions, and develop effective solutions.
Ability to work both independently and in a team environment, handle multiple project priorities and workloads.
Ability to perform detailed analysis, define technical problems, and recommend effective solutions.
Ability to shift priorities and/or workloads in order to achieve project goals.
Excellent customer service skills to resolve customer issues effectively and efficiently.
