Under direction of the Key Data Supervisor II, the Key Data Operator will perform simple repetitive keying of information from various remittance and source documents using a personal computer and/or adding equipment. Accurately and competently key entry data and verify information from remittance and source documents. Receive, open and sort documents and checks; make simple arithmetical computations; researches information as necessary; assist in compiling and/or tabulating simple statistical data; operates encoding and sorting equipment, and other office equipment as directed; carries or otherwise transports, sorts, distributes, or processes bundles/boxes/bags of mail, documents, and checks. Perform quality review, corrections, scanning and other cashiering duties as requested. The position is located in a high-rise building. The position requires the incumbent to be fingerprinted.
