TYPICAL DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING: Under the direction of the Personnel Manager, Staff Services Manager I, the Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA) / Staff Services Analyst (General) (SSA)- Delegated Testing Officer is the analyst responsible for independently planning, developing, and coordinating the Richard J. Donovan Correctional Facility’s (RJDCF’s) recruitment, examination, and selection program. This position is responsible for coordinating the examination and selection process of all institutional classifications between the requesting department, Institution management and the State Personnel Board. The AGPA/SSA also serves as a lead person to the Office Technician (Typing) in the Delegated Testing Office. The incumbent must possess the necessary and general technical competencies to prioritize work, initiate contacts, and resolve issues. The incumbent will be required to analyze data and situations; reason logically and creatively; identify problems, apply creative thinking, draw valid conclusions, and develop effective solutions. The incumbent is expected to know and apply knowledge about the organization’s customers, stakeholders, business priorities and environment in order to complete work assignments in an effective, accurate and timely manner.
May also consider Staff Services Analyst classification (salary: $2817 - $4446).
