Under general supervision of the Staff Services Manager I of the School Turnaround Support Office (STSO) in the Improvement and Accountability Division (IAD), the Office Technician (Typing) will be responsible for establishing clerical procedures and independently performing the more difficult clerical duties within the STSO. The STSO provides support to the School Turnaround Office (STO). The STO is responsible for interfacing with other California Department of Education (CDE) staff and local educational agencies (LEAs) to provide ongoing training and technical assistance related to the requirements of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA).
