Job Description:

All applicants will be considered however, SROA/Surplus will be given priority. This position primarily performs professional audit work resolving Consumer Use Tax petitions (appeals). In addition, the incumbent will analyze, monitor, control and recommend appropriate action on Sales and Use Tax petitions. Strong analytical skills and excellent written and oral communication skills are required. Interested candidates should have knowledge of Sales & Use Tax Law and must meet specific educational requirements. Ideal candidates will also be self-motivated, reliable, and customer service conscience. If your skill set includes these traits and you are interested in becoming a member of the Petitions Section team, please submit a standard state application form. Interested candidates must meet educational requirements. The position is located in a high rise building. All applicants including part-time and retired annuitants will be considered.
