Job Description:
The reporting location for this position is the Visitor Services Office at Ano Nuevo State Park. This position will work under the direction of the State Park Peace Officer Supervisor (Ranger). This is an opportunity for a motivated individual to become part of a team to provide interpretive expertise and volunteer program management at Ano Nuevo State Park. This position is primarily responsible for recruitment, training, scheduling and retention of the 276 volunteers working in the southern portion of the San Mateo Coast Sector, and the position serves as a lead for seasonal staff members who assist in the coordination effort. This position also assists with the coordination of the volunteer programs for Butano State Park, Rancho Del Oso/Big Basin Redwoods State Park and Pigeon Point Light Station State Historic Park.
