The reporting location for this position is the Inland Empire District Office at Lake Perris State Recreation Area. This position will work under the direction of the District Superintendent. The incumbent is responsible for all components of the District’s administrative functions. Duties of this position include supervision of accounting staff, contracts, concessions, fiscal budget tracking, Workers’ Compensation, housing, communications and information technology, hiring, separations, leave records reconciliation, payroll problems, permanent timekeeping, employee appraisals, and personnel actions including adverse actions. Excellent analytical ability and verbal and written communication skills are essential, as well as ability to interact with staff and park visitors at all levels. The successful candidate should be detail oriented in the areas of contracting, purchasing, budgeting, and personnel. This position is a District core staff member and will work closely with the District Superintendent, Sector Superintendents, Park Maintenance Chief, Resource and Cultural Specialist and Supervisors.
