Job Description:
The reporting location for this position is the Northern Buttes District Office in Oroville. This position will work under the direction of the District Superintendent. The Administrative Officer III functions as the District Administrative Chief. The incumbent is responsible for and supervises all components of the District’s Administrative functions including: personnel, accounting, contracting, concessions, budgeting, and general clerical functions within the District. Excellent analytical ability and verbal and written communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to interact with staff at all levels. The successful candidate should have a grasp for details in the areas of contracting, purchasing, budgeting, and personnel. This position is a member of the District core staff and will work closely with the District Superintendent, District Maintenance Chief, District Specialists, and Sector Superintendents.
