Job Description:

Under general direction of the Supervising Tax Auditor I, the Associate Tax Auditor conducts the more difficult and complex audits and serves as lead over lower level Tax Auditors. The incumbent makes audit appointments; meets with taxpayers and their representatives; explains the audit findings; prepares appropriate audit reports and written correspondence to taxpayers. Ability to travel may include overnight. Meeting the training requirements for this position may require overnight travel for up to five consecutive nights. Appointment may become permanent if the status of the position becomes permanent. Position may be extended. All applicants will be considered however, SROA/Surplus will be given priority.
