Job Description:
Under the direction of the Supervising Tax Auditor I, the Associate Tax Auditor / Tax Auditor is typically involved in auditing very large multi-state and multi-national taxpayers in relation to the Sales and Use Tax program. This position is designated as 'Mobile Worker' per Board of Equalization Telework Policy and Guidelines. This position requires overnight travel up to 50% of the time. Meeting the training requirements for this position may require overnight travel for up to five consecutive nights. More than one position may be available. Interested candidates must meet educational requirements. The incumbent will receive $346.00 per month pay differential. All applicants will be considered however, SROA/Surplus will be given priority. The position is located in a high-rise building.
