Job Description:

All applicants will be considered however, SROA/Surplus will be given priority. Under the general direction of the Chief of the Board Proceedings Division, the Business Taxes Specialist I (BTS I) is responsible for independently facilitating resolution of taxpayers’ questions and/or complaints on sensitive issues and problems at the lowest possible level of the appeal process. The BTS I explains laws, rules, regulations, and the Board of Equalization’s processes to identify possible options for the taxpayers. The position is located in a high-rise building.
