Under the general direction of the Business Taxes Administrator II, the incumbent is responsible to independently research and respond to less complex inquires relating to the 29 special taxes and fees programs. Duties are to assist in the analysis and development of policy and procedures related to the administration of the various tax and fee programs, forms and document clearance processes, and analyzing and preparing various management and statistical reports as requested by the Special Taxes Policy and Compliance Division. In addition, the Business Taxes Compliance Specialist will be responsible for completing less complex special assignments as requested by supervisors and management. The selected candidate considered for the advertised position will be required to undergo a fingerprint/criminal background clearance and that any offer of employment is contingent upon live scan fingerprint results. The position is located in a high-rise building.
