Job Description:
The reporting location for this position is the Big Basin Redwoods State Park Maintenance Shop. This position will work under the direction of the Sector Park Maintenance Chief II. The incumbent will be responsible for the direction of facility maintenance for three park units in the Mountains Sector and oversee the Laboratory located at the Waste Water Treatment Plant in Big Basin Redwoods State Park. Responsibilities include budgeting of Cat 1 and seasonal allocation, managing the CAMP program, supervising seven permanent staff and up to eleven seasonal aids, and providing liaison with contractors, vendors, special interest groups and government agencies. Organizational skills are highly desirable. State housing may be available.
