Job Description:
The reporting location for this position is the Wastewater Treatment Plant located at Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park. This position will work under the direction of the Chief Plant Operator. The incumbent will be responsible for performing general manual labor and under direction, the operation of water systems and wastewater systems. Normal working hours are 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. five days per week. This position is required to have a current T-1 Water Treatment Certificate issued by the California Department of Public Health and an Operator-In-Training Certificate issued by the California State Water Resources Control Board. This position may work up to 1500 hours per year. State housing may be available.
