Job Description:
All applicants will be considered, however, SROA/Surplus will be given priority. Multiple positions available. Knowledge of local & district tax laws and regulations. Analyze complex accounts, correct errors, prepare billings, inform Advance Desk of tax shifts, handle threshold requirements and electronic downloads. Assist local governments with tax distribution questions and respond to other inquiries. Must possess excellent communication skills (verbal & written), have strong analytical skills, and ability to work independently. Knowledge of Access and ability to develop queries and linking routines is desirable. All work performed at BOE Sacramento Headquarters, therefore, no travel is required. Applicants must submit a complete Standard State Application (STD 678), which must be submitted by the final filing date, to be considered. Please include the position number on the application. All applicants will be considered however, SROA/Surplus will be given priority. The position is located in a high-rise building. The position requires the incumbent to be fingerprinted.
