Under the supervision of the Agriculture Program Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for a wide variety of general office duties and data entry with various levels of complexity and difficulty in the Shipping Point Inspection Program. These duties are performed independently with a high degree of professionalism, integrity, judgment and initiative. The work typically requires a detailed knowledge of the programs, policies, and activities of the employing unit.
These duties include but are not limited to: database input and verification; provide support services for clerical staff in several district offices; and assist with monthly billing.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS :
The ability to work effectively under pressure; demonstrate interest in assuming responsibility, common sense, good judgment, loyalty, tact and discretion; the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing; and have comprehensive computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Power Point.
