Job Description:

Under the direction of the Chief, Office of System and Freight Planning and under the lead of the Division’s GIS Coordinator, the incumbent will develop, maintain and produce GIS and other planning analysis products such as data sets, maps, analysis, reports, fact sheets and presentations. Resulting products will be utilized by other staff in the office, within the Division, by Districts, external agencies, stakeholders and the public. While the position has strong emphasis on GIS related activities, the position also requires extensive work with various Planning products such as Transportation Concept Reports (TCR’s), District System Management Plans (DSMP), the California interregional Blueprint (CIB), the California Fright Mobility Plan.
