District 11 is accepting applications for an Associate Right of Way Agent in the Right of Way Division. All applicants will be screened for breadth and depth of experience. Only the most qualified applicants will be interviewed based on screening criteria. For this reason, it is especially important that applicants take special care in accurately and completely filling out the application.
In addition to the state application, each prospective applicant is required to submit a one-page written paper (Statement of Qualifications) describing his or her qualifications and interest in the position.
Associate Right of Way Agent – The incumbent will work under the general direction of a Senior Right of Way Agent as a full journey level Associate Right of Way Agent. The incumbent will be assigned to work in any of the areas listed below depending on current staffing levels and projected workload. The incumbent is expected to take on the more complex assignments in each of the listed functions and require minimal supervision in the completing of the assignments. Drive any type of Class C license vehicle. In depth knowledge of the various functions is expected as well as the ability to complete assignments in an appropriate manner. Enhancement training in the assigned functional area will be offered as classes become available.
