Job Description:
Under the general supervision of a Data Processing Manager II, the Staff Programmer Analyst (Specialist) will serve as a member of the Corporate Support Unit in the Technology Services Department. The incumbent will be responsible for supporting complex corporate programming modules for the Board of Equalization. Assignments will include participating on project teams, attending Joint Application Development (JAD) meetings, gathering business and technical requirements, developing program specifications, coding and maintaining corporate programs, supporting application and technical tools sets. Desirable qualifications include experience with the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Natural/Adabas programming, mainframe applications and utilities. This position is located in a high-rise building. Willing to consider hiring at the Associate Programmer Analyst level.
