Job Description:
Under the general direction of the District Principal Auditor (DPA) the Office Technician (OT) performs the most difficult Audit Control duties related to the input of data and data integrity of information on the Integrated Revenue Information System (IRIS). Generates reports in the IRIS to assist the DPA in management of the district audit program. Prepares and process audit reports and other related documents for transmittal to Headquarters or to taxpayers. Interacts and works with audit control personnel of Headquarters and other districts to resolve problems involving audit transmittals or transfers. Work is performed independently with minimal supervision and review. Work involves sustained periods of keying data input and rush periods to meet critical deadlines. Candidate must be able to perform the essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation. The position is located in a high-rise building. The position requires the incumbent to be fingerprinted. All applicants will be considered; however, SROA/Surplus will be given priority.
