Job Description:
Looking for a challenging opportunity to be on the ground floor in developing and designing the way BOE does business and communicates with our tax and fee payers? Business Taxes Specialist I needed to design solutions and lead projects to implement new legislative, regulatory, policy and procedure changes for the Sales and Use Tax Department’s audit program. The position will have the opportunity to work with other BOE sections, management and other internal and external stakeholders. The position requires a motivated, independent person with strong written communication, analytical and interpersonal skills for use in the completion of projects and assignments. An in-depth knowledge of the Sales and Use Tax Laws and regulations, audit policies, procedures and techniques is required. Project management skills are desired. All applicants will be considered however, SROA/Surplus will be given priority. The position is located in a high-rise building. Relocation expenses will be considered.
