Under the general supervision of a Child Nutrition Supervisor II, the incumbent will provide support to the Field Services Unit (FSU). The incumbent provides administrative support specifically as follows:
Perform a variety of technical duties such as create new forms for FSU and review, type, and edit outgoing correspondence for grammar, accuracy, punctuation, and format
Act as one of the primary point of contact for 54 out-stationed Child Nutrition Consultants that work in over 30 offices throughout the State
Facilitate the dissemination of information to all Field Services staff to coordinate various activities within and outside of the Division and the Department. Frequently contact the public coordinating the various functions of the Field Services staff
Process unit attendance and mail, fax, scan, and e-mail correspondence, log new applications and renewals, update and distribute weekly itinerary
Process unit travel claims, advances, and arrange travel accommodations and perform other duties as required to support the FSU
Ability to work independently, and as a team member while effectively prioritizing important tasks, and juggling multiple priorities.

The individual selected for this position may be required to present a valid typing certificate prior to appointment.
Possession of minimum qualifications will be verified prior to interview and/or appointment. If it is determined an applicant does not meet the minimum qualifications, the applicant will be removed from the eligibility list.
