Under the general direction of a Senior Transportation Engineer in the Division of Program and Project Management the incumbent provides responsive and effective support for CADD users on the various CADD engineering applications and plotting software. Provides direct project design support requested by District Management and authorized by District CADD Coordinator for PS&E effort. Such design support is required to timely deliver projects. Coordinate with Office CADD Coordinators representing each office that use CADD application for purpose of identifying hardware and software needs, collecting inventory information and addressing other CADD-related requests. Supports District’s CADD Training Program, for District CADD Users by maintaining the quarterly training program from Headquarters and by maintaining the CADD Training Room and its equipment.
To be considered for this vacancy you must be a current Caltrans employee and have transfer eligibility or passed an exam for this classification.
