Job Description:
Under close supervision the auditor will work under the direction of the Supervising Tax Auditor conducting field audits of the least to moderately difficult accounts, attends basic tax law and auditing classes, makes audit appointments, meets with taxpayers and representatives, explains the audit findings, and prepares appropriate audit reports. Meeting the training requirements for this position may require overnight travel for up to five consecutive nights. Multiple positions will be available in our Van Nuys/Glendale, Culver City, Norwalk, and West Covina locations. Candidates interested in more than one location should only submit one application identifying the locations they are interested in. Interested candidates must meet educational requirements. The positions could be located in a high-rise building. All applicants will be considered; however, SROA/Surplus will be given priority. Only the most qualified candidates will be invited via email to a written exercise at our Norwalk district office on April 25 or 26, 2013.
