Under the general direction of the Office Services Supervisor II within the Compliance Branch of the Special Taxes and Fees Division, the Office Technician will perform a variety of the most difficult duties, which require a high degree of initiative, independence and originality in order to complete tasks with a minimum of supervision or specific direction. These include clerical functions such as phone reception, processing mail, reproduction tasks, scanning and indexing documents and sorting and filing documents. Additionally, the employee will act as a lead for the less experienced clerical staff, assigning tasks, reviewing work, maintaining statistics and logs and trouble-shooting work flow problems. The position is located in a high-rise building. A LEAP Certification List will be untilized. All applicants will be considered; however, SROA/Surplus will be given priority.
