JOB DESCRIPTION :
Under the direction of the Equal Employment Opportunity Officer, you assist in administering all Equal Employment Opportunity laws. Duties include: gather, document and analyze data related to employees’ discrimination complaints and requests for reasonable accommodation, then develop appropriate recommendations, communicate recommendations verbally and in writing, compile and analyze data and develop reports related to EEO issues, formulate procedures, policies and program alternatives, serve as a resource for the Disability Advisory Committee and EEO Counselors, develop and conduct training regarding EEO issues.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES :
Ability to interpret and apply EEO laws and policies.
Demonstrate effective customer service expertise.
Reason logically and creatively and utilize a variety of analytical techniques to resolve problems.
Ability to work independently and cooperatively with others.
Well-developed organizational and time management skills.
Strong written/verbal communication skills.
Working knowledge of discrimination complaint process and reasonable accommodation process.
Experience developing/delivering training materials.
Experience with various computer applications (i.e. Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, etc.).
Minimal travel required.
