Job Description:

Under the general direction of the Administrator II of the Procurement Bureau, Business Acquisition Unit, the Business Acquisitions Analyst is responsible for performing a variety of analytical duties related to completion and processing of purchasing, service agreements and contract requests. The analyst would be expected to utilize available training and technical resources available to become and remain competent in subject areas relating to this field of expertise. The analyst prepares formal and informal solicitation documents and administers purchase and contracts to acquire Non-IT (Information Technology) goods and services.

Current state employees with status in the above classification or lateral transfers from an equivalent class, former state employees who can reinstate into this class or persons who are reachable on a current employment list for this classification. A training and development assignment (T & D) will also be considered. All appointments are subject to SROA/Surplus hiring provisions.
