Under the general direction of the Data Processing Manager III, the Senior Programmer Analyst will serve as a lead programmer on the CROS project and its parallel initiatives. This position works independently to develop new and maintain/enhance existing applications of the highest complexity. Strong java programming skills and knowledge of frameworks/development environments are required. The incumbent typically serves as a mentor to lower level staff on project teams. This can also include participating on team efforts relating to CROS, the largest and most complex IT project at BOE. The position is located in a high-rise building. All applicants will be considered; however, SROA/Surplus will be given priority.
