Job Description:
Under general supervision of the Business Taxes Compliance Supervisor (BTCS) II, the incumbent performs a variety of the more complex technical duties relative to the Special Taxes and Fees programs return processing functions. The incumbent conducts the various return and payment verification and maintenance activities described below. The incumbent must attain a detailed knowledge of the Integrated Revenue Information System (IRIS) system to handle the various aspects of return processing and maintenance assignments. It is extremely important that the technician understands the complexity of IRIS, policies and procedures involved in tax return processing. In addition, the incumbent will assist with support functions for the Return Processing Section. The incumbent will receive an additional $100.00 per month pay differential. The position is located in a high-rise building. All applicants will be considered; however, SROA/Surplus will be given priority.
