Job Description:
Under general supervision of a Supervising Tax Technician III, the Tax Technician III is responsible for determining whether out-of-state businesses, making sales to California purchasers, are required to be registered. As appropriate, registers businesses and takes steps to clear their delinquent tax liability. Meeting the training requirements for this position may require overnight travel for one or more consecutive nights. More than one position may be available. All applicants will be considered; however, SROA/Surplus will be given priority.
