Job Description:
Under the direction of the Chief, Investigations and Special Operations Division (ISOD), the incumbent manages the Legal Department’s budgeting, personnel, information technology, facilities management, property management, security officer responsibilities, and related staff functions. The incumbent also manages the department’s law library services, training, outreach, and publications programs. In addition, the incumbent plans and oversees major audit, compliance and legal policy development and program review projects involving a wide array of Legal Department functions. The incumbent advises department management on matters within these areas of responsibility and personally attends to the most difficult and sensitive matters. The position is located in a high-rise building. The position requires the incumbent to be fingerprinted. All applicants will be considered; however, SROA/Surplus will be given priority.
