The Audit Information Technology Management Section (AITM) has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual who enjoys a stimulating and rewarding environment. Under the general direction of the Data Processing Manager II in the AITM Systems Analyst Unit, you will join a collaborative, multi-disciplined team that provides a variety of services to support the Professional Audit Support System (PASS) and various Audit applications. The incumbent primarily works to plan, facilitate, and execute AITM’s release cycle activities for the PASS application and Audit applications. The incumbent may also work with our customers to perform systems analysis, define business requirements and evaluate business opportunities and risks. Additionally, the incumbent works in conjunction with other Technology Services Division (TSD) technical staff and Change Advisory Board (CAB) to coordinate change control activities for weekly and major release items and software upgrades.

  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of, or experience with, the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and ITIL.
  • Self starter with a positive attitude and good sense of humor.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) as well as Microsoft Project.
  • Experience in development and maintenance of Word and Excel templates.

Current state employees with status in the above classification or lateral transfers from an equivalent class, former state employees who can reinstate into this class or persons who are reachable on a current employment list for this classification. A training and development assignment (T & D) will also be considered. All appointments are subject to SROA/Surplus hiring provisions.
