Job Description:
The Office Technician duties include typing letters, preparing reports, reproduction tasks, scanning and indexing documents and distributing mail. Attendance Coordinator duties to include time reporting sheets, new hire documents, employee benefits, workers compensation, disability and FMLA document processing for staff assigned to AIS and other duties as required. The position is located in a high-rise building. All applicants will be considered; however, SROA/Surplus will be given priority. As part of this application process for this position, you must include a brief statement of qualifications describing: SUPPLEMENTAL QUESTIONNAIRE: Candidates must submit a Standard State Application (STD 678), the Supplemental Questionnaire and a typing certificate by the final filing date to be considered for the position. When answering the following supplemental questions, please respond using typed double spaced pages. 1) Please describe a situation in which you assisted a customer or client. What level of contact did you have with them? What specific actions did you take to assist the customer or client? What was the end result? 2) Please describe your experience in maintaining confidential information? Was this information paper or electronic? What procedures did you use to safe guard the confidential information? 3) Please describe your experience preparing original correspondence including letters, memorandums, forms and reports. Special Requirement: Typing certificate (state recognized)
