This is a Limited Term Intermittent position and may work at a maximum of 1500 hours per calendar year.

The Office Technician, Limited Term Intermittent position, works under the guidance of the Administrative Assistant II in the Executive Office (EO). General duties may included, but are not limited to, the following: serve as primary receptionist to EO; review incoming mail and circulate, escort outside visitors to appropriate meeting rooms, back up the Executive Secretary with filing, tracking and maintaining the final process of all incoming and outgoing correspondence, maintain EO office supply inventory and assist Executive Assistants with special assignments as needed. Good judgement and the ability to communicate effectively is of primary importance at this level. The successful candidate will have experience dealing with sensitive public contact and with individuals at the staff and executive level.
Competitive candidates should possess strong organizational, communication, typing and computer skills. Candidates must be flexible and have the capability to perform under pressure. Also, knowledge of (or ability to learn) Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe is desirable. Punctuality, dependability, and good attendance are of high importance. Hours are to be determined.
