Title:  CHILD NUTRITION CONSULTANT

Job Description:

DUTIES: Under the supervision of the Child Nutrition Supervisor II, in the Child Nutrition Programs Section, Field Services Unit, the incumbent will: provide an in-depth review, testing, evaluation, piloting, debugging, and technical assistance on all Child Nutrition Information Payment System modules. Monitor and complete administrative reviews of all sponsors of the National School Lunch and other food programs for compliance to State and Federal regulations; conduct nutrient analyses of meals served; educate the public, profit, and non-profit sponsors, provide technical assistance, and workshops for sponsors; prepare reports and correspondence; testify at hearings; and analyze and interpret laws, regulations, and legislation.

** Child Nutrition Program knowledge and experience and Registered Dietitians preferred.
