Job Description:
Do you have a strong knowledge of the Sales and Use Tax Law, regulations and policies, and have a well-rounded experience in audit procedures? Would you like to pass your knowledge on to others? If so, the Sales and Use Tax Department is looking to hire you as an Audit Training Instructor. The primary duty of this position is to be an instructor in the classroom teaching audit classes throughout California. This position is also actively involved in developing and writing new and revising existing professional audit and law training courses and working on training-related projects and assignments. Candidates should also have experience teaching and have strong verbal communication skills. Candidates must also be excellent writers, well organized, innovative, and able to work cooperatively on a team and independently. Travel required 50% of the time. All applicants will be considered. However, SROA/Surplus will be given a priority. This position is located in a high-rise building. The position requires incumbent to be fingerprinted.
