Under the general direction from the Staff Services Manager I within the Administrative Unit of the Child Development Division (CDD), and working cooperatively with program units and managers throughout the Department, the AGPA performs duties relating to division personnel, IT support, and inventory control. This position must work confidentially and cooperatively with unit managers, CDD staff, the Personnel Services Division, CDE Budget Office, and the Office of Equal Opportunity to secure required approvals to establish and fill positions within the CDD.
• Ability and experience in communicating effectively, both in writing and verbally, in small and large group settings
• Ability to reason logically and creatively to resolve issues
• Ability to effectively research, analyze and interpret laws, regulations, policies, and statistical data
• Ability to establish and maintain partnerships with diverse individuals and groups
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Experience working with Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, Access
